My ds ( darling son, dylan) loves him some football. GEORGIA BULLDOGS ALL THE WAY
Our family has never sat down and watched a whole entire football game on tv. Our family watches dirt bike races, rock crawl events, and MX freestyle games. We do live in Georgia. Even though our family has traveled hundreds of thousands of miles, our home is Georgia. Well, about a year ago, my son had the idea that he wanted to play football. He and I started talking football. I thought nothing about it. We went shopping and picked up a football for us to toss.
We have threw that ball in 4 different states. Shoot, people from 3 different countries have played with us. Dylan and I have been shunned a little bit too. The snobby looks and eye rolls from wealthy patrons that do not think that we should play there. Maybe we shouldn't have been in front of the Hilton rolling in the grass, but isn't it more fun to tackle?
Dylan and I would be playing football today, but we share this life with our leader, we'll call him papa bear. Papa bear does not think football is bad. He just doesn't want his boy to play this game. I will honor my husband and not go against nor disregard his wishes, but I am still trying to sway his mind. LOL
I was worried about my son not that long ago. He really had a rotten attitude, and I was getting worried. My boy was changing before my eyes and this game of football was messing with my kid. If you know me, nah, I mean we know each other face to face, then I am positive you understand I wanted to bust this game up.
It took me a few months of talking, loving, fussing, and arguing with my ds. We have come to an agreement. If God wants him to play, he will. Thank you Lord for helping me out of this one too.
I am still trying to talk papa bear into rec ball next year. We will see. Dylan is good, whew. He will accept was is and i will reward great school work with football gear, games, and anything else football I can think of
